They're very nice!

I'm impressed that you got some depth to these images from a scanner. Usually scanned images are very 2-dimensional.

Pretty coins- where did you get them? Are you working on a walker set- short or full?

I'm working on a short set..1941-1945 just 3 so far 41,44 and waiting for the 43.
Susan I bought Adobe Photodeluxe. there are all kinds of filters and adjustments to bring out. detail. I also scanned these at 1200 dpi. I love adobe. it works just great..Still waitng for grade opinions

I'll post pics of the 43 as soon as I get it. Hopefully this week.

Hi grovey

Very Nice, you know how hards it is to grade from a scan ?And then there is the fact that I'm no expert !!

But I will give you my opinion, the 1941 Looks like the better of the two by a slight margin MS- 63-64 I'm leaning toward the 64 on this one,,Very clean !!

The 1944 has a few marks that are in the design detail forward leg and sun as well as the right field on the obverse, but over all the coin looks very nice, MS-62-63

Very nice coins Indeed !!

Walker are about the most beautiful coin that was ever minted in the US Right next to the Mercury dime .

I see the 1941 as a strong MS63 and the 1944 as an MS62 (I think the hit in the skirt is what will lower this one from an MS63).

1941 = MS 62 or 63. The left hand seems a bit weak, but could just be the pick. Overall a nice strike with very little distraction. The few hits I see all appear to be little and sparingly.

1944 = I agree with Susan on this one. The strike seems better than the 41, but the hits on the leg, before and after Lady Liberty will distract from the eye. Appears to have a few rim dings on the reverse.

Now again this is simply based on photos. So don't take the grades as etched in stone. Nice coins though. Seem to have good eye appeal overall.
