I saw someone trying to sell a 1925 Lincoln Cent on ebay a bit ago claiming it was a 1925 D over S. I couldn't really see it in his pictures but I decided to investigate some of the ones I have. I came up with this and I will admit it has me curious. I could use fresh pairs of eyes on it.

Coppercoins.com only shows a D/D north. I think your coin shows die fatigue.

I don't think it is anything. I would keep it in a secure area for now. If it were a RPM/OMM it should be a lot stronger than what your coin shows:

There seem to be fading die scratches that seem to be stronger than the area in question.

There is no known 1925D/S cent. None have ever been verified by anyone authoritative on the subject. Your coin shows die flow lines around the south end of a normal D mintmark.
