i have seveal 1950 silver coins I was going through them and seen one without the "d" on top of the bell is this an error coin? and what about the silver dropping wow is it going lower hope so I like to but me 50 more oz at 35.00 oz thanks
It sounds to me like you are looking at a Ben Franklin 1/2 dollar. The D on top of the bell means the coin was made In Denver. With no D present, it signifies the coin was made in Philly. Pictures would help.
thanks and yes your correct on the coin wow I think I have 15 in the 1950 coins very good collection and just bought a spitting horse delware error coin looks good under loupe but thanks for the help
And somewhere on this site is a tutorial on posting pics.
Also, if you are wanting to buy 50 more oz's of silver, now would be the time to pull the trigger. Silver is only going to go back up from here (in my opinion).
