I have been collecting small cent for a long time now and recently I have seen 7070 around these forums even a screen name as 7070. What is it? Is it a number for a type of coin like PCGS uses for each coin and variety? I really feel quite foolish posting this as I probably should know this.

I believe they are referring to a Dansco album no. 7070 refers to a type set from 1800.

You know I never took the time to look at the number on any album. Hmmm. I don't even use them much anymore. I put my main collection in 2x2 plastic snap togethers and place them in in felt lined drawers made just for them. All my coons I've upgraded from go in the albums....I digress. Thanks for the info. You all are awesome. I don't have to feel pike a coin geek when I'm in here.
