The San fransisco mint made pennies for circulation from 1968-74, this is a common business strike coin

Common coin on the west coast but an occasional coin here on the east coast.

I know this is not a good picture but this picture does not do the black like lines on the coin justice that is very little for what it has . is there a phrase or anything to describe them ?

That's caused by an improper mix between the copper and other metals mixed within the coin
