That is a die crack in a common area on the coin. Look in the glossary for definition of a Cud.

Slight Struck Through Grease on UNITED. Looks like contact marks on the rim. If this were a Cud, that area would have to break off the die:

Then the area next to the rim would be raised. That is not what is happening you your coin. A Cud would raise even higher than the rim.
