1942 Cud Coin With Possible D On Bottom Of Cud Area

Curious One New Member United States 45 Posts	Posted 06/05/2022 12:21 pm Delving into the coin cherry pickers hobby, I found this 1942 Wheat penny that I would like to have information on, such as would this be considered a coin Cud error? With a Cud, the rim is full, but part of the field adjoining the rim is filled in as noted by @jimmy. Common date wheat cents with circulation wear are worth a few cents, but the rim damage on this one pretty much eliminates any premium above face value. This coin does not need to be slabbed.
