A "copper" 1943 Cent

909records Valued Member United States 373 Posts	Posted 04/21/2009 02:47 am found this going thru me wheats and I was pretty surprised at first (until I stuck a magnet to it) i can not get a good pick but who ever did this did a really good job there is no sign of steel it looks like a copper cent the shiny parts in the pics is just the light from the camera I can't get a good pic for some reason even where there is wear on the face it shows a copper so I just thought I would share with you and maybe somebody can tell me how they do this this good . ill try to get a better pic so the light don't shine off it it's pretty good looking fake coin thanks colleen Report this Post to the Staff

From what I learned in 8th grade (ahh... those were the days) if you pass a charge through a piece of metal, its outside will be charged, and if the ions in the solution of Cu is positive and the metal is negative, the ions will stick like a magnet.
