What is going on with this 2007 P Jefferson nickel?
Both obverse and reverse!

another nickel was glued to this one possibly on both sides. You can still see the glue easily on the reverse.

Mentioned already, the glue will be taller than the coins devices. This can be removed from the coin. (On the surface of the coin)

Intentional scratches as damage followed by glue. Value is 5 cents.

For a fun experiment, try giving the coin a long soak in 100% acetone--might remove most or all of that glue.
