Average guys like us cannot buy them from the mint. I suspect what we have here is an inventory liquidation of one of those dealers. I purchased one from one of the "coin shops" near me,2009- UNC paid $19.00 back in March. Does anyone have a clue as to how much these "Large dealers" would pay per coin? Can't you picture this shipment going to a house, and the customer wants it on the second floor. I was in the trucking business, and believe me the things people ask of the poor delivery slob. I'm sure the neighbors wouldn't notice. Anyone with that kind of money probably has a vault in the basement anyway. The spot on silver at 5PM was $15.07, so 25,000 coins for $449,000. Don't know. As for what they pay for them Spot plus $1.50 per oz, plus shipping. Quote: I agree $18.00 is too much to pay for that quantity! At $18 each the guy is making 7% at that 5:00 PM spot quote.
