Hello,

I'm getting ready to put my first coin binder together. I'm using archival quality coin pages and flips but my question is do I need a binder with a slip case? I know a slipcase will help but is it absolutely necessary for long term storage?

Yes the binder would be very useful to move around, or when you show your collection to your friends and relatives. Hence the binder is very important, I suggest you to find a good one.
