I am by no means an expert on these coins, so my grading could be off.

I would say a VF-35

I'd say AU-50. The obverse is nice with little wear except for those scratches, but the reverse seems weak.

Thats what I am thinking to Shadow. I bought this coin when I first started collecting, before I started reading about cleaned coins on CCF. I still like it though.

How much would the cleaning affect the price of the coin?

I'm with mdh. I'd only knock off 10% for polishing, as it's not intense.
