Hi, Can anyone help me identify this coin and give me an idea what it might be worth ? I thought it looked like the lion and the unicorn of the British Royal Coat of arms but have not been able to get any further than that. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

A bit of a guess, but the side opposite the image makes it look like it might be the smashed remains of a button.

I would agree - a flattened button. Specifically, a three-piece British military "General Service" button. Example on UKDFD.
