Interesting Find While Dime Roll Searching....

I recently searched a box of dimes and ran across this one. I don't know if it's an error or just something really worn. It doesn't seem like it's worn to me since the other side looks fairly decent. Scooby Due Pillar of the Community United States 4000 Posts	Posted 05/15/2011 10:12 pm Cool find! Now, what is it? The obverse is a misaligned die. Notice how the "WE" is right on the edge and the coin has practically no rim there at all, while at the other side it seems to have more than its share of rim. On the reverse....interesting. It could be struck through a huge glob of grease, but I don't know for sure. Let's see what others might think. Report this Post to the Staff
