Hi,

Received a few more coins from a co-worker. They said they are from Japan but I have no idea as to the date or face value of the coins. Any ideas?

They are indeed all Japanese. From left to right:
- 5 yen, year Heisei 9 (1997)
- 100 yen, year Showa 53 (1978)
- 10 yen, year SHowa 57 (1982)
- 1 yen, year Heisei 5 (1993).
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

And just to clarify - the 5 yen, year Heisei 9 (1997) is not made of nickel - it's made of Brass.

Well, to be honest - they are not really worth anything. They are the sort of coins you find in junk box's for 10 each.
