Hi everyone!

I am quite confused between lamination error and strike through cloth error.

Is this specimen, which one is it? Thanks!

Strikethrough or PMD, but not a lamination error.

Yass, thank you for considering a strike through error, seems like we are in the quite similar eyes!

DCH, thank you for your confirmation. After googling online with tag "lamination", I found many specimen similar with mine here. Looks like its a lamination. Thank you everyone. :D

The reason that I suggested strikethrough was because the error appears to start as a 'dent' in the upper rim and leaves a 'dent' on the lower rim. As if something was laid across the coin. Plus it looks too straight. The lamination/planchet errors I've seen are never (rarely) straight.

Yass, I am inclined to your point here. Actually I am more towards that this is a strike through error, probably through a rough cloth. And I don't think lamination will affect the raised area in that nature, as in this coin. Thank you for sharing your opinion. :)
