AGC didn't get things right, either. It's a cent on struck dime, not a penny on dime planchet.

The prose is directly from an urban legend I read somewhere. I'm not buying it. (Nor the coin.)

I sent the seller a question and surprisingly I got a response: "Can you tell me what makes this coin different from the one found here? http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleN...otIdNo=41007------- The coin that you shown here is not Two LIBERTY plus the head of Lincoln has no skull break and the reverse has no crack die variety plus is not good enough to compare on my Double Denomination plus the coin was certified by famous grader and Inventor of slabbing coin and cards.Mr Alan Hager. Now if you gonna ask me about grading of a coin this coins fall in the category of Very Fine againts MS 70 it is big difference. Did you read the Coin Fact Encyclopedia about Double Denomination? Now if we compare on 70 hits of Mc Guire in Baseball. The ball sold for 3 Million and the 72 hits of Bond after Mc Guire sold only 250 K. So original and famous items is more expensive than the later one like you are showned in this link.So you can not compare an apple to oranges or Banana. 1922 No D of Lincoln Cent is about 60K NO D 1922 Lincoln Cent still one cent...Well. This is the Hobby of a KING they pay so much money on a UNIQUE ONE specially with a lots of details in 1995 Double Denomination. Plus you add up the Story of the coin. Hope my explanation will clear or answered your question. I thank you for visiting my lots and appreciate it too about your inquiry about the item."

Quote: Plus you add up the Story of the coin. The story means absolutely nothing to the value. If I a 2008 dime in my pocket, but it was given to me by Micheal Jackson the day he died, & he put it in my hand and said, this is my favorite lucky dime ever, does that make it worth more than 10 cents? Maybe to me if the story was real, but no to anyone else.

That many obvious grammatical english errors makes me think of those email forwards you get of signs or what have you translated from Chinese into English, where the translation says something funny or just doesn't make any sense.
Now I make my fair share of grammatical errors, but some of those errors in that email are very obvious, and to have that many errors in response to an $8.5M auction seems really suspicious. With all do respect to CCF contributors from Asia, that email seems like one of these Asian scam artists.

All it needs is "Thus Spake Zarathustra" as the soundtrack
