Ok I'm lost, wouldn't Machine Doubling occur on almost all letters, not just 2 cause the coin or machine moved?
And if it were a double die wouldnt it happen on random lettering the way this coun is?

Sometimes just one device or many, even just the mint marks are affected. Depending on how loose the dies are.

Or more depending on the exact timing and angle of the pressure at the time the die bounced. Machine Doubling is definitely a coin to coin thing, and nothing can be taken for granted in what it looks like except that it is completely different from hub doubling - and obviously so.

Question...It looks like the Doubling on the "S" flows to the left (if it is doubled and not a nick in the "S") and on the "A" it flows to the right...is that possible with MDing? Or does the "S" have PMD?

Exactly!
The S definitely isn't a scratch, the line follows the whole shape, just can't see it on my crummy iPhone camera
