I will try again to post a pic. no luck on the pic. tells me that it can't connect are pennies that are stamped off center worth anything? I found a 1988 that about a quarter of the rim is missing directly to the right of lincoln's head. The date and everything else is there. I would post a pic, but I can't seem to get it on right now. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 01/03/2007 6:11 pm Is the reverse centered correctly? If it is centered, that was caused by misaligned dies. If the reverse has a thin rim as well, it is not enough for it to be considered off center- the rim has to be broken with and a blank planchet area has to be present. Either way, it is just a numismatic curiosity with no value over face. Report this Post to the Staff
