Good morning, I was fortune enough to walk into a store that I go to just about everyday and I was to get quarters. He showed my a stack of half dollars since he knew I liked to look through his coins every once in a while and asked me if I wanted them instead. I could immediately tell they were older than what I use to have. I of course said yes so here is what I got:
I'm in need of quick cash so I would like to know from my friends out there who have helped me alot, should I sell on ebay or go to dealer in Houston and sell for metal....?
Quick is the key word here. Any advice is appreaciated!
If you really need cash, I would just go to a dealer that pays the most, none of those dates are worth more than spot. ebay will maybe make a little more, but I don't think it's worth the time for a few extra bucks with the fees and shipping. Also, with ebay, there is a chance you wont even get what a dealer pays..
I doubt it, I have never gotten the spot price before, usually its a less than that. It all depends on what the dealer pays for the current spot price, usually around 80%.
