What Do You Think Of Chop Marks?

The Chopmark Collector's Club is alive and well! No, the website isn't very active, and honestly I find it a bit difficult to navigate, but the majority of the activity is actually done through the quarterly newsletter. The editor of the newsletter is in Taiwan and does an excellent job of putting material together.

For anyone interested in recieving the newsletter, there is a small subscription fee for mailed copies, and a recommended $5 fee for electronic copies only. :)

I personally find chopmarks quite interesting. I have an 8 are with chops but I would love to have a US trade with chops, so long as the design isn't completely impaired with the chops. *** Edited by Staff - Please Review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

I am one that believes anything that was done outside the mint is damage, I mean its called Post Mint Damage for a reason and can include everything from a light cleaning to someone putting their initials on a coin. So even though everyone is welcome to collect what they like, these coins just have no place in my collection no matter what any of the TPG's say is acceptable
