Just received my first capped bust coin (never can find a good deal on one), I just wanted some of your thoughts grade, value ect. I dont see any cleaning marks under the microscope but there is one slight ding on the edge. The toning is great but had a hard time getting a good pic (the charger for my camera is missing had to use old camera).

Congrats on your first capped bust!

I can't tell of the grade, since it has a lot of glare, but on the reverse, by the rim, below the zero, that looks like a Cud.

You need to turn off the flash and put it in macro mode, to get a good photo.

Well I will say it is at least an EF coin, but better pictures are needed. There looks to be some wear on the top fo teh eagle's feathers and some wear on the bust front on the obverse, so cannot be more than an AU, but the details are strong.

Nice coin! How much did you pay?

along her neck below her chin there is a line that follows the contour of the neck, (like I said this is my firts capped bust) is this normal. I looked at other pics and havent seen it, might be because of wear though.

dont know much about capped bust verietys, whats premium for this coin. Also what your opinion on the edge is that a Cud or just a ding (if it is a Cud will that increase the value?)

I dunno. I think you did well I would think that is a $95 or $100 coin in a retail setting. Looks more like damage to me than a Cud. Which is probably why you got it for $71. BTW, can you get a closeup of the date?
