Studies where a coin is flipped millions of times have shown that they're not 50/50 in results, but weighted to one side.

They covered this on Penn & Teller Tell a Lie this year. For anyone familiar with the show, this was not the lie for that episode. In other words, it true. Since the observe and reverse have different designs, the center of mass is typically shifted towards one side.

I've been carrying silver dollars for over a year now. I thought it might be neat to pull it out when anyone asks around for coins for a coin flip. Hasn't happened yet.
