Protect your home against vandals, break-ins, hurricanes, bombs. Even saves energy and cuts UV damage by 99%. Pretty amazing.

Been around a while. Pointless as security film for the most part unless you normally get people who aren't smart enough to run a utility knife through the plastic layer before or after breaking the glass. Thieves hitting our office building caught on to that quick. We got tired of that and put lexcan in subframes in. That worked. Then I wised up and closed the Atlanta office altogether. That worked even better.

Great stuff for hurricane zones though and that was it's original purpose, highly effective and could be a real life saver in a serious storm.

Possibly great for Huricanes. The entire house blows away but when found, the windows haven't been broke.
Never could figure out how these are good for burglaries. Around me about 90% of all home burglaries are simply kicking in the doors. And for those that don't want to make noise, on TV they once showed how a simple pipe wrench to the door handle opens most of them as long as no separate bolt lock. For those type of windows too a small Butane torch after breaking the outer layer of glass works great.
Yet those are great fo keeping in Heat and A/C systems.

Of course. Dead Bolt locks, stell bracings, etc. Unfortuately usually the entire frame is just kicked in.
And that is why we have safe deposit boxes in banks.
