If I had known these were coming I would not have ordered the special sets from the mint and carved them up for the kids quarter books.
Mind you I'm ready for Christmas and that's worth something.

I don't keep track of the mint products, first time I've bought anything there in years and likely be years more before the next.

I only go to the mint site when something interesting is posted on this forum
Visiting there regularly would be the online equivalent of watching Mr.Bromberg on the shopping channel

Ok, I just tried to order these and the site tells me that they can not be shipped to the US. Anyone up there willing to order me a set and ship it to me? I actually just need 1 set of six, not both. I can paypal you the money or trade coins.

Yes...thanks for the heads up. Got mine ordered as well! The price is right! Now when I average these and the $1 and $2 with what I paid for the two "uncirculated sets of eight" I bought, it isn't too bad! I did notice that the RCM website shows the same reverse in their "depictions" as they do for the ones in the silver set of three. I do wish they would use actual photos so people would have a better idea what they will actually be getting. Edited by canuck1us

don't get me wrong, I don't visit RCM site everyday:) I remember the first time someone posted the park theme loonie and toonie info here, I checked mint.ca, the quarters page was there together with loonie and toonie, so I have the impression this offer would be available and never bothered to order that special edition |
