Well, that's cheating. I can try to see if my Mom will move to Canada so I can do that, but I'm thinking she'll probably say "No!" or words to that effect.

Yes, you get 2 of each. So if you ordered the max number of packs, you'll get a total of 18 colored coins and 18 non colored.

twoplustwo, correct me if I'm wrong, we are getting 12 coins 2 of each for $3, so if we get 3 sets that's 36 coins 6 of each, yes/no?

I also order mine, plus went to the neighbors.

Just reread the post 18 + 18 =36 I just saw 18 sorry.

Hopefully everyone can order the 12-pck quarter set successfully.

When I read the specification about the special edition uncirculated set and the 12-pack quarter set, I find two differences in their specification for these quarters.

Does these 2 differences indicate that the quarters have higher quality and grade in the special edition set?

In theory it might be different. I guess we'll see. My uncirculated set this year looks like circulation strikes to me and every one else.

I doubt it. I think "reeded" and "serrated" are synonymous and I agree with Ugly on the quality of the strikes on the special edition set.

Just ordered my 3 packs. I had bought a few of the Boreal Forest Sets earlier this year so it looks like I'll have a good number of quarters to add to my collection. Thanks for the heads up dodola.

I agree dodola, they will be gone before you know it. Thanks for the heads up. Can anyone confirm mint numbers, other than while supplies last, and maybe answer a few, or add to? I had read previously at the mint site that 12.5 million of each of the 3 quarters will be released for circulation, and of that, 6.25 million of each of the 3, will be colored. That being said, how many of the 6.25 million will actually reach circulation levels? Is the circulation strategy similar to the red quarters? What would be the best ways, practices to get them from circulation?

I called Mint Vancouver downtown store yesterday, and they said that they will have some in February for exchange at face value in the store. I also asked about the colored one. The agent said that he believes the colored quarters will be mixed randomly in the new rolls. So I might go to RBC to get some new rolls for hunting colored ones in February.

I think this colorized park quarter will be sold out soon.

why not? it is face value, no tax, free shipping. If you do not like it after you receive it, just spend it.
