Everyone's coins are absolutely gorgeous! I will just sit and watch this thread...... and drool at what I see.

I really don't have any excellent pieces like these. Can't wait to see what comes next.

#7 - 1908-D Barber quarter. I got beat on both ends of this - I bought it as Mint State, and ANACS only called it AU55.

In-hand, I called it AU59.

There have been a lot of awesome coins posted but if we are talking favourites then I have to go for nostalgia...
may I introduce to you the good old British penny (pre-decimal).

Your-Top-12-20th-Century-Coins

Obvious varieties with the changes of Kings and Queens but the reverse remained basically the same (I know , with minor varieties).
But it's my favourite because it evaokes memories of being a young 'un. Having three of those in my hot sweaty palm and I was as rich as Croesus. Also the smell and taste (not advised for hygienic reasons but nevertheless) of them.
