I do not have a professional grade just wanted an opinion. An opinion which is better than mine. I will tell you what I bought this as. I think I made out pretty good, I guess Ill know for sure with some opinions. I included a close up just to show more detail on the cheek.

Hard to tell from the pics if it has original luster.

I'll take a stab at MS 64-65

Looks to be a strong MS64 and a large "S" variety. They made a small and large "S" that year. You might look for any prominent die fill in the top loop of the second 8 with diagonal markings. I cannot see it in the picture but you might on closer inspection. That would make it a VAM-9 if so.

It's an 1880-s, so the graders are gonna be tough on her. With what I can see from the pics, the cheek won't allow me to go above ms63.
