When will the first of the Presidential dollars be released? Is there a forum member in the USA able to get a supply and willing to send a few rolls of coins to Australia every few months? I could distribute these coins to the forum members within Australia. That would be a saving on the many overseas postage costs. When they are released, I'll start a thread and find out how many Australian members of the forum are going to collect these seriously. I'll have to collect their addresses. We in Australia should have something set up like this for the USA quarters series also, LOL.

Looks like Feb 15th will be George Washingtons unveiling. I actually have my Dad checking with his bank in PA, since I don't frequent banks that much and he uses his every week. That being said, I will check around here and if I can get my hands on enough, I would be more than happy to send rolls to you guys and gals.

I live in the DEEP South East. We (well, at least me) never see Denver mint rolls. Just single, circulated D coins.
I was wondering if folks out west have the opposite problem? And if so, do folks here ever trade rolls?

Also..... I'm going to collect them. But since we're putting the Presidents on dollars, I wish they would take the presidents off all the existing coins and go back to Liberty.
Heck, just copy ANY Liberty...seated/walker/standing. Even a recycled old design will look better than what we've got.

Let me make this pledge.
If, and it's a big if, my banks do as they say they will, and have plenty of Presidential dollars, I will be most happy to help out any and all CCF members who would like some. Based of course, on how many I can obtain.
So, in about a month from now, we'll see what the banks here have to offer. If they do indeed have plenty of Presidential dollars, I will post the news, and ship out as many as I have available.

Gary, I might be one who will need your help. Keep me in mind

If gary can not get them or my bank get them first I will get a few extra rolls to try to help out.Plus I will be looking for someone how cna get the P mint to trade a roll or just half roll depend one what you are needing as well. So hopefuly between gary and Me we will be able to help everyoen out. I am not planing on spend the high mint prices for the rolls unless I have to if no one has them. But Have been told by one bank they will be getting them just don't know when. I may see about the next few weeks talking to the bank manager or the one who orders there coins and make sure they will have them.

Make sure and try to request them with an order at your banks prior to Feb 1st. The Federal Reserve Banks nationwide will be accepting orders beginning Feb. 1 from financial institutions for the first of the Presidential dollars coins to be released, honoring George Washington.
