A local coin store near me, they had a box behind the counter with random stuff and this was at the bottom. So I asked how much and she said a buck, I also spotted 2 more civil war tokens in the box which I plan to grab next week, those are the army and navy types like seen above. I was shocked when she said 1 dollar so I didn't want to lead on that they were worth more and start grabbing everything, my patience will pay off again next week when I grab the others.

Great tokens! Seeing these makes me want to collect them once again. Here is my only piece, can anyone give me a Fuld number and rarity for it?

@Dave H... terrific specimens. I agree the history is what makes CWTs so enjoyable.
Your Christian Rauh Rooster token is one of my favorites. It being both a confectionery token, as well as having the rooster device, makes it a terrific example to have.

CheetahCats, I read an article in Coin World recently which stated, "In coin collecting, it's not about the money, sometimes not even about the coin; it's about the story & history". Personally, I couldn't agree more. The Rauh is also one of my favorites, in addition to the Hussey token w/ the train on it. I don't have that one yet, but am always looking for a nice one at a reasonable price. You're collection, or what I've seen of it is simply amazing/awesome and is one anyone can envy!Question... do you deal in tokens, or only collect?

@Dave thanks for the kind words about my cabinet.
As to your question, I do both at times.

Guys, I haven't seen much of anything on this topic in quite a while. Doesn't anyone have anything new to share that they haven't already? I know somebody has to have purchased a CWT or store card in the past month or two... Come on, get them posted!
