Is this a struck through die cap?

Not to sure what the date is, though it is pre 83 because it is copper.

Very cool find. It is a struck through die cap. Could it even be a 1959?

How did you find it?

I'm gonna go with '59 on this one.

Nice find!

I also think it might be a 1959 now that you mention it.

I found it searching bank rolls. I think this one was in a CWR but I cant remember 100%.

I really like the look of this error, its the first I have found in more than $3000 searched.

A very nice late stage die cap. Since some of the obverse design elements are starting to bleed through the die cap is the reason why I called it late stage.
