Question About A 1968 Penny - Coin Community Forum

NYBrian84 Valued Member United States 279 Posts	Posted 01/26/2012 8:30 pm First, I apologize in advance for the poor quality picture. I only have a camera phone. I was going through my pennies today, and this one stuck out. The color (although it doesn't show it in the picture) is a lot different than any other penny I've come across. Also Lincoln is raised a lot higher, but isn't as detailed. I'm guessing it is just another copper penny to add to the pile, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for any help. Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 01/26/2012 9:20 pm Looks pretty nice for being in circulation for so long. I think your photo is pretty good for a camera phone. I am wondering about the top of the coin -- it could be the angle of the photo but it looks like the 'trust' is on the rim a little bit. Anyway, I'd keep it. (But I keep too many...)
