I went to a local auction on Saturday. A single collection was being auctioned off in 340 lots. There were probably 40+ bidders that would come and go. I went about 1/2 hour early to examine some of the coins I might bid on. But, there really wasn't time to see everything.
In summary I bought:
1864-L
Indian Head cent (EF40 or so) for $150
1886 Typ 2 G
IHC & 1906 MS63 RB
IHC for $20 for both. The 06 is a very nice coin. I didn't see it before I bid, but did catch a glimpse of red. I was just hoping it wasn't cleaned, it wasn't. I was really after the 1886 Type 2 for my album. Go figure.

A set of Jefferson BU nickels for $70. It is complete through 2004. This was a surprise lot that wasn't on the listing and I was only one of two people to look at it. I think everyone thought it was a circulated set. I was hoping for a nice 42-D and boy did I get it and then some.
2011 Proof Set for $20
1831 Bust Half (F or higher) for $50
A 1903
Barber quarter and a 1905
Barber dime for $6. I think everyone thought it was two dimes. I was pleasantly surprised too.
I could only stay for 1/2 the auction, but at times things were fast and furious. The auctioneer would unexpectedly combine lots and this caused confusion and some pretty low bidding.
Some of the pics have been posted in the grading sections.
