The ancients are Alexandria 2-3rd century AD and Claudius II Gothica 268-270 AD Antoninianus. I don't know from what date coins are said ``ancient`` but my 1808 sure is a nice old beauty.

THis one was given to me by my Grandfather and was the first Seated quarter in my collection. I love the contrast of the darker fields and the rays.   You guys are posting some  amazing  coins!
