i would like some opinions on what people think about this coin
the seller claims he bought it at an auction in the 1960's
i ask him why doesn't he get it authenticated ,because he knows its real and its a waste of money

It's good, looks to be F-15 to VF-20. Can't really tell if it has been cleaned from the photo but it looks decent.

The coin in question ..

Buffalo-Indian-Nickel-1937-D-3-Legs

E PLURIBUS UNUM is not touching the buffalo back = Good
Tiny dots under belly leading to ground = Good
Deteriorated detail in rear leg = Good
Pointed beard = Good

This one is mine and mine is real.
Looks about the same. Fakes are usually quite different.

Rest in Peace

I agree with the genuine determination. Two characteristics are that the entire buffalo is smaller, and the "dribble", which isn't obvious.

Looks good to me also. Slabs are good for some, but costly too. I'd probably slab this one all things considered though, takes the doubt out of it for a potential client.

It seems to have all the proper diagnostics. Looks like the real deal to me.
