I am happy for you if you got it for the price of the grade on the slab! Definitely a killer deal if you got it at that price...

When you enlarge the photo you can see a few other lighter scratches. But, there's a line that runs from under the ear all the way to the right side of the coin. Can't tell if that's an actual scratch, glare from the camera or from the plastic case. At any rate I think it's a beauty, also! Go with what you're gut is telling you & as another poster said, at least a second opinion! Good luck!

I actually had thought AU-58, but probably a market low MS since its nice.

I cracked it out and re-photographed it. I will take this one to the Baltimore coin show and do an on-sight submission with NGC. Hopefully it will get an MS grade.   |

Amazing coin. 62-63 is right. Some dings, but no honest wear anywhere! Just about perfection unless you were standing on the end of the coining press in '62

Wow, what a great looking coin out of the holder.  Why would ANACS grade it at AU-58, what would they have missed to not see that is a MS coin.  Glad you resubmitted it and got a MS grade.  |

Dang! Ray Charles has a new job at ANACS! Did not see that one coming. Still a beauty to me! (after reviewing the previous posts) I commented on this one (pre-NGC) and still got suckered into to the ANACS grade. I have always liked NGC slabs, but this one may be the kicker! AU58 price for a MS62 Coin? I was orignally thinking MS63 from the OP. Edited by oih82w8
