I'm going VF35 on this coin. I know the ribbon is separated but I just don't see it going the full EF grade as is right now, I think it can be improved (and not doctored).

Looks like some green PVC gunk, on the coin. You might want to get it into an acetone bath, just to make sure it gets all the residue removed. Other than that some corrosion from older PVC contact around the reverse lettering and wreath area, also around the mint mark. Hopefully it will all dissolve in the bath. If it does I'd go a full EF45 on this IHC.

I think it is shy of EF too, without qualifiers. You also have the more common placement of the mintmark on this attractive Indian cent.

I agree, very choice VF, just shy of XF, with great color. I wouldn't be shocked to see it slab at XF though, with the way TPGs are grading these days. Every submitted 1908-S is apparently an XF45.

I agree with VF. Not enough feather details and diamond details to get the EF.
