There are many SAFE places to order that quantity of ASE's. APMEX (as stated above), Provident Metals, ebay, Silvertowne, Bullion Direct, Modern Coin Mart etc.

I would be VERY leery about using Craigslist and wandering around with over $7000 in my pocket but your choice.

They are a VERY easy product to purchase....

200 holy smokes thats a lot to buy. Like another user said when your buying that many of soemthing buy it from a registered dealer via internet or local coin shop. You may get a little better deal on craigslist or ebay but its just not worth the risks that come with buying that much. I have used APMEX and bulliondirect and I have been very happen with there services and product. I usually buy 4 per month.

Not only could you get ripped off from Craig's list, but also you could get robbed at gun point, with that kind of cash.

I would only go through a reputable dealer, like Foxwoods has mentioned.

I personally never liked the local dealers in Los Angeles. Of course, there are probably a few that are alright, but so far, nothing with mentioning. I heard the one in Long Beach, is pretty nice, but never went there since they only open weekdays and I work all weekdays. Wish more dealers were open over the weekend.

I usually just wait for the Coin Convention at Long Beach Convention Center, which seems to be about every 3-4 months. At least then, I'll have more options, and there's also a lot of good dealers from out of state that display their things.

I buy from SilverTowne and they've never done me wrong. Cheaper than most too.
