For those looking to order this coin, it is 'available' at http://www.mint.ca again.

I doubt it will last long.

Mine arrived today and it is as nice as I had hoped.

For those that got theirs in the mail already, how are you liking them? I didn't get any but it had me interested. Is it even nicer in person?

Anyone in USA ordered coins on canadapost web site in past?
I got an email mine 2012 coin has been sent Delivery Service: Xpresspost and given Tracking ID.
The Tracking ID shows item left Canada, but ? will this canadapost Tracking ID still be tracked/updated within USA?
Or does tracking updates stop once it leaves Canada?
IT appears for USA persons that ca mint coins are best ordered on canadapost web site,
because it is FREE Delivery Service: Xpresspost & Tracking ID...GREAT DEAL
CA MINT WANTS $12.99 CAD$ = about $13.22 USD
https://www.canadapost.ca/shop/pers...ecution=e4s1
CA MINT Temporarily out of stock AGAIN... They change status of this coin twice per day!

The tracking will update even after it gets to the United States. There may be some delay with it though and you may have your coin in hand by the time it updates. The shipping time I have experienced has always been very fast and they are very well packaged to prevent damage.

Hey, a new status - maybe to go with the refreshed website?

"Awaiting Stock"

$10-Silver-Titanic-Coin

I like this one as it implies the mint is waiting for someone else to deliver their product lol.

But I still don't get why they suspend ordering. It is 13% unsold (2600 units) so why can't they take orders while they 'wait' for stock? They take pre-orders and move out issue dates for other coins all the time...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-SOLD-O...040470981505

What is sooo 'Rare' about SOLD OUT 2012 50 Cent Coloured Titanic Silver-Plated Coin, it's 1 oz of copper and this is $300 on ebay for a $35 original price? Do not understand why it got 'Rare' & SOLD OUT for Silver-Plated Coin that is 1 oz of copper!
is it because it is 50 Cent Coloured Coin...it had mintage of 15,000 not that much off from 20,000 of $10 PURE Silver Titanic Coin!
I just do not understand why a 50 Cent Coloured Coin is more wanted then the nice $10 PURE Silver Titanic

Nobody understands why a bunch of colored bird coins are going for what they are either. If someone wants to pay the price then so be it. It's their choice

"Rare" is ridiculously overused on ebay. Still, 15,000 is rarer than 20,000, and I can see it as a potential $500 retail within the year. I remember when the
Head spaghetti bender in Rome came out with an under $20 yurro set, we sold several of them from $300-400, and could have sold more if we could have gotten them.

We ordered a roll of the plated copper issues from Downer's @ $49 a pop, confirmed one evening and cancelled the next morning. Anyone wanna make a quick $15 on yours?
