Across the board. Palladium is getting hammered, down 33.00 from $660. Silver is down about the same percentage. Seems AG is keeping the percentage a bit better but still down.

Yep! First thing I check in the morning. I'm actually good if AG keeps dropping. Get back down in the teens and I might start selling some of the guns I never use to stock up on silver. http://www.monex.com/liveprices

I have ever piece of silver I own for sale on ebay, priced as if silver was setting at 75 bucks per oz., lol. Listed for a month buy it now only style.... An I could honestly care less if I sale on single high priced piece, and plan to just keep adding more an more durring this long term dip.... Maybe one day spot price will catch back up to my pricing, but until then I wil keep an enjoy it all....

Wait. Precious metals moved one way or another?
I bet it moves back, and then back again.
I would go crazy if I watched prices every day, I just buy some each payday, write it down in my ledger, stow it away, and take comfort in the fact that I'm doing it now.

You say CRAZY, I am CRAZY, like a fox NAM! I am so freakin CRAZY over here at Bosaikevin's, let me tell ya! I escaped from my strait jacket last night the girlfreind padlocks me in, and started listing items on ebay at an INSANE low price (NOT, rof ), as I am out of prozac so you better take advantage before I get my script filled an come to back my senses.... I have actually put that in the description of my auctions before, lol ,....

I would not worry much about the price. Just look at it as a buying opportunity and buy a few ounces on each move downward. Dollar cost averaging in this volatile market is your best bet. Silver and Gold both are now trading below their 14 and 200 day moving averages so it should not be too much longer before they start a slow peak and valley climb back up past the mid $30 range and trade sideways until the November elections.
After that it is anyone's guess as to what will happen. Just be very leery of the fear mongers that go around touting $80, $100, $200 an ounce Silver ( like some on this forum ) by the end of what ever month or this year. You can place a sure bet that the "professional" dealer/PM investment companies want you to believe that crap so they can make a killing on the paper futures they are holding. If PM's were really destined to skyrocket as some say do you really think they would tell us? No! they would be buying every ounce they could get all the while tell us to sell ,sell, sell. So just forget about the prices and enjoy the lowering prices. I sure am.

Quote: Of course! I just received my monster box of ASEs -- what else could I expect... Lol, Barry! You remind me of a couple of the guys I used to know at work. They were always talking about stocks and options. One day, I told them that the only way I could make money from their activities was to short when they were long and go long when they were short. That would not have worked 100% of the time but I would have made more money than they did. Consider yourself as "the canary in the coal mine". Just don't beat yourself up too badly. As Tim said, none of us knows what will happen, so just relax, buy what you can, when you can, and let the rest just do its thing. I'm sure that all of the PMs will be volatile in price and we can't let that be an obstacle to progress. Monster box?

I think the stock market is due for a correction downward... I think precious metals will follow (but not to the same degree).
I am planning on buying in the 20s within the next month or two.
But who knows, I could be wrong and it could go to $50 by then :) lol

I've been hearing about silver hitting ridiculously high numbers now since 2009 and the best its managed is the upper $40's before a precipitous drop. From what I understand, silver is a relatively small market compared to stocks, oil, and gold, which makes it very easy to control by financial bloodsucking octopi like Goldman Sachs and the cartels. There are probably a handful of mechanisms that would truly cause silver to breakout but TPTB don't wish it, so let's not expect it to happen. Maybe we'll all live long enough to see that big silver payday that the big distributors incessantly promise in their newsletters; but in the interim, stack, stack, stack.

I think we just have to buy when lower than the recent trading few weeks. Once bought can't fret over it just have to be glad to have PMs. As prices rise I bought some silver proofs basically for junk silver cost. I think the 5oz America the Beautiful coins are not a bad deal currently at 204 95 from the mint. I will be buying the few more I need for future Christmas gifts

Just thought I usually spend about 200 for the kids "big" gift and why not something neat plus valuable! They got Gettysburg last Christmas. My husband and grand son too! This year my husband and grandson will get Vicksburg and my kids Olympic (went there on crosscountry trip when they were young). I may just get another to have while still avail. I hope the next 5 are made and for sale before any increases. I didn't buy when they were 279

I have a coin show this weekend.... I was thinking about picking up some silver. I was interested in those 10 oz poured bars from englehard. Goldmart is selling them for 335, which seems like a great deal. but maybe I'll see if I can get something for a better price at the coin show this weekend!

That IS a great deal already. Most of the time, these are in the $360-380 range at the on-line PM dealers and more than that on ebay.
