2006 - $200 buy-it-now which I suspect is overpriced
2008 - one sold for $45, buy-it-now $100
2007 - sold for $665 and buy-it-now $2000 (!).

If price were solely based on mintage, I don't see why the 2008 will fare any worse than 2006 or 2007. According to the annual report, 1,822 of the 2008 were minted in 2008, and another 103 were minted in 2009. The total would be under 2,000 for the 2008, which is far less than 2007 for certain. Unlike most of the mint coins which are primarily used for display only, I would assume that some of these would have been unwrapped and consumed, thus making any intact package far more rare.

Just don't understand why 2007 would be more valuable than 2008

I got 'beat-up' on ebay today; tried to bid on 19 different "Occasion Set" quarters. I only won four. :(

The '07 Baby Rattle sold for over $80 (my high bid was around $72), but I still can't figure out why it gets so much attention. Charlton has it at $120 with a mintage of just over 30,000. The next three years (2008/'09/'10) had LOWER mintages but Charlton has them listed at $20. I was somewhat thinking that Charlton had made a typo boo-boo and should have used $20 for the 2007 also.

PS: Earlier I did pick up the 2010 Baby Carriage quarter (mintage of 27,048) for just $4.25.
