Whoops, beaten by one minute. At least my picture is slightly larger lol.
So how well do these "numismatic bullion" coins do? Do they tend to follow the spot price plus a decent premium? Or do they tend to drift back to metal value?

jpaiva83 & Hobbes: Many thanks to each of you for your lightning fast and complete response.
I thought I might be able to sit this round of releases out, but the gold War of 1812 commemorative has caught my attention. It would be a nice companion to the 1812 silver dollars already released (and purchased!).

@jpaiva, thanks! I had no idea I could do that I figured the pre-sale to master club members only would apply via the phone too. That said, I've only got my eye on the two I've mentioned, so I don't think there's a rush.
As for my predictions I think the dinosaur will do well, and I have that similar feeling for the bird. Really nice design on that one.

Also I agree with CC-Ottawa the 25 cent bumblebee is a lot nicer than the glass one.

So I called trying to order and was told you have to be in the Masters club to order...anyone else have this happen or am I misreading something?

@KJL makes sense thanks for clarifying. I didn't try it, but it sounded too good to be true sadly.

Before I became a master club member, I was able to order a couple of coins I knew existed that weren't on the mint's general public page yet. Granted that was last year so maybe the mint's policy has changed, or maybe the person I spoke to didn't know that he wasn't suppose to take my order.
In any case, I am sorry if I provided any mis-information.

Not a misinformation I don't think. It's just that RCM employees are catching on. It used to be that they'll just punch in the item/product number and make the sale. Looks like the tele sales department is being told otherwise now (my bet is it's because low mintage coins are selling out much too fast even before launch)
