Quote: Very good. I have one on order too. Now I have to work on getting a ladybug at a reasonable price. I couldn't just have the number 2 in a series. 2 options: sell bumblebee or buy ladybug at high premium.

So as far as I know colonial never sold any for RCM price. Most major coin stores at least sell a few at RCM price.

That is why they were not listed before they wanted to sell them all for a premium.

Agree. Their price just went up another 5 bucks.

I'd better buy that $500 ladybug before next year's release pushes the price to 1000+!!
With all the bumblebees hitting the market now I'm not surprised the price is being pushed below $200.

theres a local dealer around here selling a lady bug for 350$... I'm tempted to take it off his hands since their shop is known for jacking the prices on items

I would buy it for $350 NOW. I beleive it'll be worth $600 to $800 next year.

Where is this coin store? I'd be more than happy to purchase it myself.

C/A is up to 199.99 and have 16 in stock.
This is an interesting trend. They normal pre-sell all mint products at issue price (at least until they sell out at the mint). But with this one, they didn't list the coin at all until recently, and then only at a premium.
Makes me wonder which of the latest coins they will 'hold back' on.

Colonial did the same thing last year with the ladybug if I remember correctly.
