We gave out at Farmers market in change and other spots $207 in half dollars this past week. Gold dollar coins received and handed out totalled $7. So the total I circulated was $214. But also, I found another uncirculated Kennedy half dollar in one of the rolls of 2013P - after the last "circulation date". Another coin for my small coin collection! Now for the big news, my farm was responsible for closing the current $2 bill circulating challenge with our $632 handed out over the last week. We have been handing out near $30,000 in $2 bills per year which I suppose skews the results! But as I posted there, the key to circulation of the less used currency and coins is businesses choosing to do so. So encourage the businesses you buy from to circulate the bills and coins you would like to see used. $3501 to go |
