kenscott Pillar of the Community United States 787 Posts	Posted 04/07/2012 12:30 am Hello Everyone, Just wondering if anyone has heard of a die gauge in a 2005-D Kennedy half. While doing a rew machine wrapped rolls, I fan across about four them them and one is pristine with what appears to be a clear die gauge on the reverse slightly below the FG. * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 04/08/2012 3:32 pm Yeah, a die gouge is just a scrape that the die suffered at some point, creating a raised area on the coin. Like die breaks, they have to be really substantial to be worth anything. Report this Post to the Staff
