Is this coin a good investment compared to the dino coin?
I am puzzled because the mintage of this coin is 7000 and the dino coin 25,000, but places like ebay are selling the dino coin at multiple the issue price, but the group of seven coin is barely selling at all.
Because this coin is still available at all the coin shops at the mint price, where the Dino is all sold out or the price has been raised. I hope that helps.
I think the excitement of glow in the dark will be short lived. I think the Gof7 will be a better investment over time. Plus it is solid silver so it will always at least be worth melt value, although I just enjoy the art and don't plan on selling it.
It's a very nice coin, and should do pretty nicely, but I don't necessarily agree that the glow in the dark will be short lived. It may not shoot up much more from where it's selling for now, but I think worst case you'll always be able to at least double your investment on it if you bought it at issue, which is never a bad deal. Not too sure if that's the case with Stormy Weather.
yes it was me who picked up the last 2 coins from colonial after seeing the picture above I thought I would get them I also picked up the coin and box set from gate west for the same issue price.
i think it is sold out at the mint and other dealers are getting low on them so I can see the price going up I picked up extra's to sell myself I will keep 1 for my collection
I was sitting on the fence about this coin too. Then I saw the video on youtube and was sold! I ordered one but now am thinking about getting a second one before they're gone.
