Hmmm...My 3 are still "processing". Searching the mint's website for info on the new coin yielded no information. I like the idea of using it as a flipping coin....I call heads!

I have more than one maple, canoe, and polar bear, but I think I will stick with one only for this latest release.

I can't even proudly display this one with the others. It just doesn't go with the Canadian Outdoors. This makes no sense. They killed the series. I will have to turn this coin upside down. Oh wait, I can't even turn it upside down.

My account is showing that they have shipped, but no photos showing with my order. Hard to believe you can purchase something but not be able to see what it is. (besides on here or ebay) At least with the subscription, there was no shipping cost charged. Not thrilled with the design either. I think it would have been better if they stuck to the old QE II image on the one side and the old Queen Victoria image on the other. I think it would have been even more fitting to the series if it had have been some variation of a caribou, beaver, loon or Bluenose. |

You can't yet, I'm not sure when they'll be for sale. Only people that signed up for the subscription are getting them so far.

Thank you CC Ottawa for posting a pic.....I thought the RCM would sneak out one more royalty coin....I too might had hoped for a different design....but I like the royalty coins...for some reason..and let's remember this is a real achievement....only the 2nd diamond jubilee in a 1000 years...a good buy and hold.... |
