I have been following a thread begun by Claire72 regarding the possible coin die. It's been removed. Anyone know what happened?

I remember reading a new memember (cam-18) commenting on Claire72's "vacation". I don't know the details of why this happened, but it's quite possible someone broke the rules and the mods backtraced cam-18 to the same IP, and decided to step in.

Claire, for some reason, insisted on putting groups of random X's in her posts and titles. The problem with this is that the search engines see this and think this is a "different" kind of site and de-indexes the pages. The ad networks (that keep this site going along with the members) also stop showing ads.

After 4 emails with no response and days of following her around removing them we grew weary and let her, and her "friend", go.

I hope this isn't taken the wrong way--but I'm still skeptical that was a Roman coin die.

I posted two pictures of busted and rusted square nuts with part of a bolt inside but the thread disappeared. They looked remarkably the same, but sadly, there are a lot of rusty old nuts out there we haven't seen yet!

Well I guess we will never know now, if it was a broken bolt or a coin die.
