Don't believe it is rippled at all. Just very thin Wheat penny that weighs 2.2 grams. If it was affected by acid wouldn't that also take away the imprint? I'll have to look at it again...my ex is the coin guy...I just like to help him out with research. If it is still here...I will upload a picture. Everything on line points to copper but not sure what that would mean for this penny any way.
