The Two Loons has the same diameter as a bullion SML, 38mm. Commemorative dollars are 36.07mm in diamter.

I'm pretty much certain the 2 loons coin will not sell out before the general public release date. I was at post office today and the lady told me they weren't letting her order the oversized colored stampede quarter and the Olympic loon, she said it says offsale. The same thing happened with the glow in the dark Dino. This post office is not a corporate one it's in a drug store I don't know if that matters. She was able to order the 2 loons and the niobium no problem.

Can somebody tell me the mintage of the two loons coin? I've looked through this thread but didn't see it anywhere.
Thanks.

Not that the size really matters since none of those silver dollars circulate anymore. But still, this is yet another variant to consider in our ever so expanding NCLT landscape.
Not sure if this is good or bad, but I bought the coin anyway because I really liked the design.
My wife does not agree.

It is really eye-catching. I have ordered 10 for myself. And I just another 2 for my friend.

@Mrpiedfort, Rockdaddy22:
Thanks! That was fast :)
I don't know if I should continue torturing myself by finding out about the coins before they are even released (non-MC member). Now I have to wait a week before I can even order them, and then anywhere from 3 days to 6 months for shipping :)

Before the RCM police gets all excited, this isn't the real coin. Nor was it taken from the MC web page. I cooked up the coin using what is already available on the public domain. Would not be complete without the classic case:

It must've been a tough design to adapt Richard Hunt's print to fit on a coin.

This coin should have had a $5 face value, which would be in line with the other 1oz coins with a 38mm diameter. I'm in the final stages of building a complete Commemorative Silver Dollar collection, and I'm now torn whether or not this coin should be included.

i am a bit confused, is the 2 loons a silver comm or a bullion, on the mint web site they say 1$ fine silver, so if its 1 $ dollars fine silver, its not a bullion...+ the mint does not sell bullion...so it has to be in with the comm...

Definitely a commemm. Comes in a clamshell, coloured, and commemmorates the 25th Anniversary of the loon. Not a Silver Dollar though.
